What types of solutions does pivaSiS offer for which processes?
pivaSiS develops end-to-end solutions for the safe, hygienic, and efficient transport, screening, dosing, mixing, and packaging of powder and granular materials. Our product range:
• pivaCON Vacuum Conveyors (dust-free, closed-line transfer)
• pivaFILL bag/big bag filling & emptying units (leak-proof sealing with inflatable gaskets)
• Screening/Sieve units, pivaDOSE dosing, pivaMIX mixers, pivaSILO silo systems
• Line automation, robot integrations, and turnkey plant solutions
Integrated with custom engineering and PLC-based automation for the food, pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetic, paint, and other industries.
How do you ensure hygiene and ATEX compliance?
• Hygienic design: 304/316L stainless steel, smooth surfaces, tri-clamp connections; design options compliant with GMP/FDA requirements.
• Cleaning solutions: CIP/easily removable modules, quick product changeover.
• Dust control: Leak-proof grip with inflatable gasket, local suction, and high-efficiency filter options.
• ATEX compliance: Dust explosion risk analysis, zone-classified equipment/automation, safety interlocks.
• Traceability & accuracy: Load-cell-based dosing, recipe management, data logging and reporting integration.
All systems are delivered turnkey with pre-installation engineering calculations, 3D layout, FAT/SAT testing, and training.
What options are available for hygienic design and product contact surfaces?
Product contact surfaces feature AISI 316L, optional Ra ≤0.6 μm (electropolishing option), tri-clamp/TC connections, and hygienic gaskets (EPDM, FKM, PTFE; metal-detectable blue option). Minimizing dead volume, reducing dead legs, and facilitating drainage are standard design principles. Clean room integrations (layout compliant with ISO 7–8 zoning, external service access) are planned through project-specific layout studies.
What do you provide in terms of documentation and validation (GMP/FDA)?
Projects are executed in accordance with the URS-DQ-FAT-SAT-IQ-OQ workflow.
• Material traceability: 3.1 material certificates, gasket/polymer food contact declarations (EU 1935/2004, FDA CFR 21 compliant options).
• Welding & surface reports: welding logs, surface roughness measurements; electropolishing certificates if required.
• Automation: recipe management, data logging, audit trail, and 21 CFR Part 11-ready options (e-signature/e-recording) are provided upon request.
How do we start a project process with Pivasis Engineering, and how does process management work?
Our project process begins with a thorough understanding of customer needs and is built on transparency:
1. Needs Analysis and Discovery: In the first phase, we meet with our expert engineers to fully determine your existing processes and goals (capacity increase, automation, cost reduction, etc.).
2. Design and Proposal Presentation: We design the most suitable and efficient solution (machine layout, process flow, automation level) for the identified needs and present a detailed technical/commercial proposal.
3. Production and Quality Control: Following your approval, we initiate production in our own facilities using high-quality components in accordance with international standards. Strict quality control processes are applied throughout production.
4. Installation, Commissioning, and Training: We complete on-site installation at your facility and perform commissioning tests to ensure the system operates flawlessly. Finally, we provide comprehensive operational and maintenance training to ensure your personnel can use the system efficiently.
Do you only sell machines, or do you also install them?
We sell individual machines to modernize your existing facility and also build turnkey process plants from scratch (including installation).
